Listening To: Radiolab →
I’ve become a fan of the NPR and recently one of my favorite Stories on NPR was “The Turing Problem” on Radiolab. This episode is about Alan Turing, one of the absolute savior’s WW2 (he created the code breaking computer “Bombe”) and the father of the modern computer, who was persecuted for being a homosexual.
Why Do I Even Care?
I apparently ruined someone’s guessing game on facebook. Apparently the game was that you make it seem as though you are guessing at what some parts of an image, but don’t tell anyone the answer when you figure it out… I just posted the answer. Which might just be a ridiculous premise to me, and everyone else on the planet might be like “Drew, you’re crazy, this is...
Don’t work too hard.– The lady that cleans our house said this to the person who she had been talking to on the phone for the last hour. Of course I am stuck in my room trying not to listen to this inane conversation as she meanders around, not working. ಠ_ಠ

Not really, but I can see the writing on the wall
Hunger Games was quite good.
But I must say that some people are ignorant idiots who apparently can’t read, which has gotten me really depressed on what was initially a beautiful afternoon.
Be Nice. Don't Be Too Nice.
It doesn’t help you. It doesn’t help them. It only kind of helps “present you” delay something that will fuck up “future you’s” day. Be conscious of “future you”, they deserve better than this.
Dog owner protip
If your dog likes to chew, get him/her a naturally shed deer antler chew toy. They’re not cheap, but they last a while. Rocky had one that he chewed every day and it lasted him a month. He got another one last night for graduating puppy school and I expect that to last about as long.

Please check out Dan Harmon’s thoughts on this issue. He makes some great points and I agree with what he wrote. I initially had a comment that I had posted, but I deleted it, because I remembered a few things: 1) He’s a human being. It made me sad to think about this happening to someone I know. 2) The media is becoming increasingly bad at reporting this kind of shit. To be...
Drew Recommends: Shut Up Little Man! (2011)
A documentary about the infamous underground tapes of two roommates and their nightly shouting matches. A fascinating look at Pre-Internet viral media and whether it’s right to share surreptitiously recorded audio/video. A really interesting film. It’s currently on Netflix Watch Instant.
…when you are dunking your head in the bath and you consider not coming up. Terrifying.
This shitty weather isn’t helping my depression/anxiety.
goldenbells replied to your post: It’s weird… Haha, oh, what? Haha oh gosh, geez wow that’s weird, aliens, nah, what’s that? Oh boy, I sure know I’M not an alien, haha.. ha… ha… Listen here Hannah, if that is your real name. I already know that Christina is an alien (though I promised not to divulge her alien name), so it stands to reason that you’re an alien as well. Girls hang...
… it feels like a few people that I know are aliens, trying to pretend they are humans but not getting it quite right. Maybe I just know a lot of fucking weirdos…

My Thoughts on Going to Church:
Yeah, that’s what I want to do… go into a room and be told that I’m not good enough for hours at a time, it’s every school dance all over again.

Drew sleeps through it and yawns at the news.
The Inheritance Problem.
I received no inheritance when my father died last year. Niether did my mother, other than his debt of course. She received an insurance payout and we will be splitting the workman’s comp award (because he died while on the job) between the three of us. All of this has got me thinking of Inheritance tax. Mainly because I’ve talked to some people in the past that think that 100% of...
But hey, reverend, there are two knobs on the radio! One of them turns the radio...– George Carlin. The simplest solution if you don’t like something is to turn it off.
1 year since the worst day... not much easier.
